Angel E. Pena Gamez
SCHOOL
I'm a senior at Southern Utah University expected to graduate December 2018 with a degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. My end goal is to one day hopefully be a PE teacher at a high school; as well as to coach a sport at the school. I would love doing soccer, lacrosse, or track.
PERSONAL
I spent half of my life in Sonora Mexico, later moved to Salt Lake, and eventually made my way down to Cedar City for college. I'm married to my wife Hannah, and we have two crazy dogs. I'm also a part of the Utah Army National Guard. I'm a 13B, cannon crewmember. My job consists of cleaning and driving, but I love it.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
I ran track in high school, focusing on the 800m, one mile, and two mile. The one mile was my favorite, it was the right amount of laps around the track, and I wouldn't get as bored and confused as I did with the two mile. I had competitive times throughout all my time in track however, I had to give it a rest due to a hamstring injury.
